High School Sweethearts Marry at Stephen's College in Columbia, Missouri

It’s nearly impossible to put into words just how wonderful Ashley & Jacob’s wedding day was. Not only did we have the most gorgeous weather of 2022 thus far for their day, but they had one of the most welcoming and generous groups around.

Walking in to Stephen’s College, we were welcomed by happy chatter all around as the girls were getting ready. Ashley greeted us with her stunning smile, as usual, and I knew it was going to be one of my favorite days.

Jacob & Ashley’s nuptials have been long awaited by their friends and families, who all act like one big happy family. These two started dating in high school, and have grown together into their adult years. It’s clear to see that Jacob is a complete gentleman who treats Ashley with the utmost love and respect.

From the first looks, to the ceremony, to the speeches, tears were flowing. Ashley’s dad pulled at our heart strings as he teared up reminding her that she was beautiful, and she’d always be his baby girl. The speeches left everyone teary eyed, even us. Don’t get me started on the love in Jacob’s eyes as he saw his bride for the first time on their wedding day.

The entire day was just absolutely breathtaking. It was a wedding day I never wanted to end, because it was such a reminder of how wonderful people are and what a privilege I have to be capturing joy and memories that are happening every day. I don’t have the right words to describe their magical day, but it was a day that would make anyone stop and reflect on the beauty that is life with those you love.
